'Tuff Jam’ are Karl 'Tuff Enuff' Brown and Matt 'Jam' Lamont, a British DJ, music production and remixing duo. They rose to prominence in the early 1990s and initially built significant followings as DJs in their own right on the emerging underground UK Garage scene. They began working together as production duo 'Tuff Jam' in 1993 and are described as having a pivotal influence on the development of the UK Garage movement. Often referred to as the Godfathers of UK Garage, they presented a popular radio show on London's Kiss 100 from 1997 until 2000 and were regarded as THE headline DJs of the scene for well over a decade.
