After discovering Jakarta’s blossoming nightlife in the late 90′s, Stef soon stumbled upon the underground house scene of Jakarta. Entirely different from the glitzy R&B/hiphop parties which veered away from having music as it’s central focus, this underground house scene was a breath of fresh air for Stefie. With an insatiable hunger to learn all its facets, she soon found herself deep into the music, and not too long after —in 2005 she picked up a pair of decks and the rest is history. Diversity is key everytime Stef graces the decks. From left field sounds and acid, breaks, techno, and electronica, she journeys through different styles to tell the story.
