Midknight Thieves

Belfast-based duo, The Midknight Thieves have firmly made their mark on the Northern Irish dance music scene over the last two decades and are well known as consistent purveyors of all things electronic. The pair joined forces in the mid 2000s when their popular club night, ‘Defunkt’ was host to some of the major players on the trance scene at the time, including Wippenberg, Alex Morph, Mike Koglin, Genix and Ronski Speed. Over a seven year residency at one of the UK’s most renowned clubbing institutions, ‘Lush!’, The Midknight Thieves have featured alongside some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Fatboy Slim, Above & Beyond, MK, Kolsch, Danny Howard, Andrea Olivia, Hot Since 82 and Toolroom head honcho Mark Knight which has had a big influence on their sound.
