EJA

EJA is the solo alias of one half of Duplicity, an Edinburgh based label and podcast series. As Duplicity, EJA emerged onto the local Scottish scene in late 2019, playing at events around Edinburgh and Glasgow and quickly earning a residency spot at Edinburgh's grittiest, no holds barred event series and collective, Powerhouse. Since the pandemic, EJA has refined his own sound and general approach, focusing on deep, hypnotic, groovy and loopy elements, largely inspired by artists such as Rene Wise, Setaoc Mass, DVS1, MARRØN, Kaiser and has been working on his own productions, with a growing arsenal of unreleased works and a few select releases which have so far been released on digital and vinyl through labels such as SOMA Records, Duplicity Records, .defaultbox & PRTLWRX.
